It comes after Andrew posted an update on his Twitter page Conor’s Clips where he often shares photos and videos of his three children who have passed away.

The Dublin dad lost nine-year-old Conor, seven-year-old Daragh and three-year-old Carla last year.

They were killed by their mother Deirdre Morley in January 2020, but she was found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity earlier this year.

Taking to Twitter, loving dad Andrew shared a screenshot of a message that he received from a follower who was praising him for speaking out about mental health.

They told him: “Hi. I just wanted to say your kids inspired me to go seek help for my mental health struggles so I can be the best mam to my own kids.

“And I’m much happier now. No words can take away the heartache of your devastating loss, but by listening to your interview on Brian Dowling’s podcast, it made me realise how important it was for me to seek help to get my head in a better space. So thank you.”

And Andrew replied: “I’ve received many messages like this and it’s why I speak out about Mental Health.

“I’m not a Mental Health professional but I do know that we need to look after ourselves and others.

“We also need better Mental Health Services. Apologies if this upsets anyone.”

And CervicalCheck campaigner Vicky sent some words of encouragement to the heartbroken dad.

Replying to the tweet, she said: “Thank you for sharing this with us and for ALL the advocacy work you do.

“You are saving lives. Your children would be so proud of you.”

Andrew spoke with Brian Dowling on his podcast Death Becomes Him back in October.

He recalled finding his three children in the house, and said that it’s something he will “never ever recover from”.
