IRISH parents have been warned not to use a baby bath stand and popular toy on the market over safety fears.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has issued two alerts for the Shnuggle Folding Bath Stand and mini dolls being sold on the Joom Platform.

The Folding Bath Stand products may put babies in danger as tots “could fall from a height”.
The affected items were sold from September 27, 2019 to date, with the SKU of “SHN-BTH-FST2”.
The CCPC warned: “A safety issue has been identified with the affected products, where when the bath is incorrectly placed in the bath stand, there is a risk that the baby in the bath could fall from a height.
They added: “Please discontinue use immediately, and log onto Shnuggle’s website for a free safety strap.
“Instructions for how to install the strap will be included with the strap.”
